Babah Alun Mushola placed on the upper floor police station building at Taman Suropati Menteng Jakarta . According to Jusuf Hamka, the architecture of this Building was designed with application of Betawi, Chinese and Dutch Colonial cultural architectural elements. This research aims to determine the application of those signs through Pierce’s semiotic theory to identify the architectural elements of the Babah Alun Taman Suropati mushola. This research was carried out using a descriptive qualitative approach, by observing the details of the cultural architectural elements at the Babah Alun Taman Suropati mushola. The research exploring the form, function and symbolic meaning of the application of the cultural architecture elements. It is hoped that the research results can become a reference in designing building designs that apply cultural architectural elements
Krisnina Dohan Limantara, josephine roosandriantini ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.ukdc.ac.id/index.php/LKR/article/view/552 Tue, 26 Mar 2024 05:22:05 +0000 Penerapan Sisa Material Kayu dan Triplek Sebagai Elemen Kedap Suara Dalam Bangunan https://jurnal.ukdc.ac.id/index.php/LKR/article/view/523
Waste material is a very serious problem in the world of building construction. Efforts to reduce the use of new materials and reuse leftover materials can have a positive impact on the environment. Moreover, many building materials cannot be renewed so they are only used once. Apart from that, producing new materials requires the use of quite a lot of energy. There are many new materials, but this does not rule out the possibility that wood-based materials are still widely used. Wood is a type of building material that has a natural grooved character and is able to withstand noise and weather. The aim of this research is to determine the difference in soundproofing between wood and plywood materials in semi-permanent buildings. The method used was an experimental trial using the CoolExp software cellphone application to measure the decibel sound from each experiment. This research data was obtained through several experiments from several types of sounds, namely, knocking sounds, the sound of pebbles being dropped, the sound of music, the sound of people talking, the sound of vehicles. The results of the research show that: (1) the sound of knocking on wooden material is more soundproof (2) the sound of pebbles being dropped on wooden material is more soundproof (3) the sound of music on wooden material is more soundproof (4) the sound of people talking on tripek material is more soundproof (5) the sound of plywood material vehicles is more soundproof.
Yosafat Danang Kukuh Bismo Jati, Januarius Basilius Agung Soli, Heristama Anugerah Putra ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.ukdc.ac.id/index.php/LKR/article/view/523 Tue, 26 Mar 2024 05:23:49 +0000 Pengaruh Budaya Terhadap Tipologi Masjid Saka Tunggal Cikakak Banyumas https://jurnal.ukdc.ac.id/index.php/LKR/article/view/538
The analysis involved measuring light intensity, light distribution and natural ventilation strategies to achieve optimal indoor conditions. The use of natural energy source such as the sun and outside air supports the principle of sustainability in building design. This journal examines natural lighting and ventilation in Tourist Information Center (TIC) and Creative Economy Market buildings which is expected to provide in-depth insight into the effectiveness of natural lighting and ventilation systems. Recommendations for design improvements or enhancements are presented to improve energy efficiency, environmental quality, and user comfort at these locations.

Keywords: natural lighting, natural ventilation
Wang Chen sin Dany Alfino, Jenny Febrina Andini ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.ukdc.ac.id/index.php/LKR/article/view/547 Tue, 26 Mar 2024 05:33:41 +0000 Pencahayaan Penghawaaan Buatan di Restoran https://jurnal.ukdc.ac.id/index.php/LKR/article/view/536
Heritage Restaurant is one of the eating places in Wonosobo Regency which is often visited by Wonosobo people from many groups, both families and young people.
