Abstract

The discrepancy between actual cycletimeand production targets may affect the stability and efficiency of the cooking oil packaging process. This study aims to analyze the cycletimeof Machine S in the FillingPlantof PT XYZ Tbk. Surabaya for 485 ml packaging production and to evaluate process stability against company standards. The method employed was a timestudy conducted through direct measurements using a stopwatch, supported by production data from June 2025, machine target data, and process production data. The results indicate that the actual cycletimeof 15 seconds per unit is lower than the company’s takttimeof 15.7 seconds per unit, demonstrating that the production process is capable of meeting the target of 1,720 bottles per shift. These findings suggest that the fillingplantsystem operates stably in accordance with established operational standards. This research serves as both an evaluation of process timeperformance and a validation of time-based production control implementation. The results are expected to provide a foundation for continuous monitoring and contribute to future studies on productivity and efficiency in manufacturing packaging lines.
