Abstract

PT. Intidaya Dinamika Sejati is a company engaged in the production and distribution of industrial equipment, with one of its main products being the Medical System Vacuum. This study analyzes the problems in the Purchasing Department related to the production process, by identifying key challenges such as delays in Bill of Materials (BOM) creation due to queues for damage analysis and inefficiencies in the workflow from Sales Order (SO) to Work Order (WO). This study aims to identify and minimize delays inthe Medical System Vacuum production process at PT. Intidaya Dinamika Sejati using the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) methods. FMEA is used to determine the risk of failure based on the Risk Priority Number (RPN) value, while VSM is used to analyze the value stream and production lead time. The results show that long queues in the Bill of Materials (BOM) damage analysis have the highest RPN value of 432, followed by delays in material arrival (RPN 280) and Purchase Order approval (RPN 210). The total lead time reaches 177 hours, with a non-production time contribution of 81%.
